glas facades Vision 3000 windows are constructed only from quality proven design principles and branded components. This extends to handles, restrictors and hinges.

Standard Handles
As standard, all side hung, bottom hung and tilt/turn casements are fitted with the quality Maco Harmony single handle in non-lockable format (which in turn drives the Maco Multi Trend DT concealed multipoint locking system). The standard handle finish is Silver Effect (S). Optional finishes include Bronze Effect (BZ), Titanium Effect (T), Champagne (C), Gold Effect (G), RAL 8019 Brown (BN) and RAL 9016 White (W).

Optional handles types (in addition to standard nonlockable) include key lockable (which should not be used on windows deemed as fire egress windows) and push button operated (which are suitable for child safety environments).

Premium Handles
The Vision 3000 system is capable of taking most standard 7mm square drive handles that the client specifies. We recommend the following as a typical premium upgrade product which we offer as an alternative to the Maco Harmony handles:

Glutz 5019/5616 CF Zermatt handle (in either satin nickel plate or polished chrome).

Glutz 5616DC handle drive (without cover) for authorised window operation only.

Glutz 5616DCV handle drive (with cover) for authorised window operation only.

Hinges
Side and bottom hung windows are fitted as standard with the attractive Anuba Herkula 320 hinge in Bright Zinc Plate finish (WV). Optional finishes include Yellow Gold (GV), Nickel Plated (V), RAL 9016 White (W) and RAL 8019 Brown (B). The 520 hinge is used on larger windows (refer to minimum and maximum size charts). Tilt and turn casements are fitted with Maco Multi Trend DT hinges available in standard Silver (S) or optional Yellow Gold (GV) or White (W).

Tilt Restrictor

Restrictors
Where there is a requirement for secure window restriction, the MACO Multi Vent Tilt Restrictor can be used.

The use of restrictors should be carefully considered. Although they provide a good level of child safety restriction, they should not contravene fire egress regulations.

The device is available in either white or brown as standard and in any RAL colour by special order on larger quantities. Friction controlled opening is fully adjustable by allen key (supplied with fitting). The black button on the top of the fitting releases the restrictor (only when unlocked) allowing the window to be opened fully. The allen key supplied can be used to lock and unlock the restrictor.

When the window is closed after opening with the restrictor opened, the device will automatically re-engage.
